Strong student participation will ensure our ability to attract graduate school recruiters in the future. This important activity is scheduled partly as a response to the rising expectations of students to continue their studies beyond the baccalaureate degree. Thanks to the active participation by our students in this event last year the number of school recruiters in attendance has grown.
Representatives from Oneonta’s graduate programs and more than 75 other colleges and universities will participate representing law schools, medical schools, the health professions, business administration, social work, psychology, sociology, engineering, computer science, pharmacy and other arts and science areas. A complete list of the participating schools will be available at the Career Development Center, 110 Netzer Administration Bldg., 436-2534. Information on graduate assistantship and graduate fellowship opportunities will be provided by the schools in attendance.

The Purchase College, SUNY Career Development Center invites you (or a colleague) to our annual Graduate School Expo! The event will take place on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017 from 11:30am-2pm in the lovely Purchase College Performing Arts Center.
Named by the Princeton Review “one of the Best 381 Colleges in the U.S. and Best Regional Colleges in the Northeast,” our students and alumni greatly value and plan to pursue their graduate and professional education. According to a recent graduate Life after Purchase Graduate Survey, 55% of Purchase graduates plan to enroll in Graduate or Professional School within 2-5 years; and more than 15% are enrolled within a year of graduation.
As an added benefit to meeting our exceptionally bright Purchase College students and alumni, once again, several select neighboring colleges are invited to attend. This will allow your programs greater visibility, as you can reach an even larger pool of potential applicants.
For a limited time, registration for the Expo is offered at the early bird discounted rate of just $60.00! To take advantage of this special rate, please complete and return the enclosed registration form with your payment by Friday, August 25, 2017.
The registration fee includes:

· A four foot display table at the Grad School Expo
· Lunch and refreshments
· A link to your program’s website featured on our Grad School Expo webpage
· A listing in our Grad School Expo Guide
